ETA Partners with IBIA to Highlight Advances in Biometrics That Are Securing Frictionless Commerce.

March 9, 2018 –  The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) and the Biometrics + Identity Association (IBIA) will bring together the payments technology industry and biometrics industry in the new Biometrics + Identity Zone –Powered IBIA at TRANSACT. The dedicated area will focus on fighting fraud and ensuring customers have access to safe, convenient and secure payments options through biometric authentication of the user’s identity. TRANSACT, the world’s largest payments technology tradeshow will take place in Las Vegas, Nev. April 17-19, 2018.

 Additionally, there will be discussions around biometrics during the sessions, including Digital Identity, on Tuesday, April 17, and new exhibitors showcasing solutions, like IRIS ID and IDEMIA, on the show floor.
