MarketMan Launches Invoice Scanning App to Streamline Restaurant Supply Tracking Process

Invoice tracking is a well-known obstacle in restaurant operations, requiring restaurant operators to stay late or come in early to make sure everything is tracked, paid on time and up-to-date. MarketMan, the cloud-based inventory management and purchasing solution that streamlines the relationship between restaurant operators and suppliers, has launched a first of its kind invoice scanning application designed to even further streamline supply chain solutions.

The revolutionary app solves the challenges created through traditional invoice tracking done via pen and paper and prevents problems from things like lost documents and inefficient spending. By taking these issues and incorporating them into the existing MarketMan cloud-based inventory management and purchasing solution, customers are now able to easily scan and automate all invoice tracking and save time and money on the task.

The app, launched in September 2017, includes paperless vendor invoicing, automated accounting integrations, OCR scanning directly through the mobile app, data extraction, a digital filling cabinet and automated accounting. Each function was introduced to allow restaurant operators to spend less time and effort tracking invoices, while simultaneously receiving alerts about price changes and cost saving opportunities.

MarketMan platform is cloud-based, therefore utilizing the invoice scanning app is quick and easy. Restaurant concepts across the country who are already using the MarketMan platform are now able to take a snap shot of all of their receipts and invoices using their smartphone, and the app will automatically begin tracking from there.
