Clover P2P Payment App in Invite-Only Beta

Clover is a mobile app people can use to pay their friends. The peer to peer app uses the phone number to create a unique, secure account. Users can pay directly to a Clover contact or in person using a quick response (QR) code. Users also can take money out by transferring funds to a PayPal or bank account, and load money on to Clover using a credit card.

The oft-citred application is paying friends on a group restaurant tab.

The appn now is in  invite-only beta in the United States for iPhone and Android phones. Anyone who is invited gets $5.00 added to their account (and can take it out at any time). Members also get invites (five  right now) and when you invite someone to Clover, your invitee will get $5 and you’ll get $5 as well.
